CBS Maze Contest #1

Hey people,
this time, we're having a maze level creation contest. All of you should participate as this is an excellent chance to prove your skills. To participate, simply create a map including an escape level and a fitting escaping unit for it. The game should be playable and be creative in some way.

The task
Create a single escape level and an escaper with 2 abilities.

Rules
  • Only effects and models from the original version of Wc3 and Tft are allowed. No custom models, skins, music and sounds shall be used. However you're allowed to use custom icons and up to 2 custom tiles. (Exceptions are: dummy caster (empty model) and hero glow)

  • Your escaper isn't allowed to have more than 2 abilities.

  • You are supposed to create the entire submission all by yourself, but you may ask others for feedback.

  • An uploaded submission may be edited and overworked up to the deadline.

  • Each participant mustn't submit more than one submission.

  • You may use WE, WEU and NextGenWe (if you use WEU/NextGenWE, leave a note in the post including your submission)

  • You're not allowed to protect the submission.
  • You are allowed to use GUI, JASS and/or vJASS.

Breaking this rules may lead to disqualification.

Judging
-Concept/Gameplay 30% (How good is the map to play? Is everything working correctly? Is there a visible concept?)

-Terrain 20% (Does the terrain look good? Is it fitting to the gameplay?)

-Abilities 20% (Are the abilities creative and useful?)

-Combination 10% (Are the single parts of the map fitting together?)

-Visuals 10% (Do the used effects look good?)

-Fun Factor 10% (Is it fun to play the game? Is it exciting?)


The winner will be chosen by 2 judges (Battlelord and me)

Prizes
0-3 participants:
First prize - 30 reputation points and a #1 Contest Banner
4-6 participants:
First prize - 30 reputation points and a #1 Contest Banner
Second prize - 20 reputation points and a #2 Contest Banner
6+ participants:
First prize - 30 reputation points and a #1 Contest Banner
Second prize - 20 reputation points and a #2 Contest Banner
Third prize - 10 reputation points and a #3 Contest Banner

Deadline

Monday 13 July 22:00 GMT+1.
Entries submitted after this time, are no longer participating in the contest.

Do you want us to use a pathing based "path" detection system or a region based one?

Do the map have to be the common "Escape map" (Path and when you walk down you are dead) or are we even aloud to change that a bit (or a bit more )?

The task is to make an escape map. As long as it is one, it'll be accepted. You're allowed to change as much as you like as long as it remains an escape. (Using some roleplay elements is accepted, but making an complete rpg out of it is not accepted).

Why? Escape maps never had abilities except for those stupid ones with windwalk and auras. Demonhunter ftl.

Skar, play Jungle Labyrinth for escapes with abilities that don't suck. Also, your abilities can be passives if you want to be anal-retentive about it
Additionally, the auras weren't stupid at all as they inspired a certain measure of teamwork being good, and windwalk is more interesting than no windwalk at all especially if done right.

Question:

In the hypothetical circumstance that I develop my current concept, would it be alright to have two different units with exactly the same stats but different names (FOR RP REASONS LOL I LIKE LORE)?
